Production Details
HEPA – “High Efficiency Penetration Air” filters are tested for efficiency & certified to 99.99% efficient in 0.3 micron particles in size.
ULPA – “Ultra Low Penetration Air” filters are tested for efficiency & certified to 99.9995% efficient in 0.12 micron particles in size.
HEPA & ULPA filters are constructed of pleated fiber filter medium pack. The mini-pleat type media pack provides for a lighter, more compact and more efficient filter. Each filter is factory tested & certified for efficiency & flow rate. Various types of framing can be used included extruded anodized aluminum (most common), wood & stainless steel. Frames are available with a closed-cell neoprene gasketing, gel or knife edge seal. Face grills are available to protect the filter media.
